Mozzarella is a fresh cow’s milk cheese, with a soft and stringy consistency and a delicate flavour. This cheese is obtained from the processing of raw or pasteurized cow’s milk, which is coagulated by adding rennet or citric acid. The term “mozzarella” derives from the verb “mozzare”, which means to cut by hand, referring to the practice of cutting cheese by hand to form the characteristic balls. In this variant Voglia di latte offers mozzarella stuffed with salmon. Ideal for eating plain, in salads, pizzas or bruschetta.
